Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina, llev\u00f3a delante a principios de abril la Escuela Regional \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/grupomontevideo.org\/sitio\/noticias\/jornada-de-augm-sobre-geodesia-en-america-latina-y-el-caribe\/\">Nuevas t\u00e9cnicas geod\u00e9sicas para Am\u00e9rica Latina y El Caribe<\/a>\u201d<\/strong>, actividad que cont\u00f3 con el marco regional de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Universidades Grupo Montevideo (AUGM).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La Escuela ofreci\u00f3 un <strong>panorama conceptual y pr\u00e1ctico sobre un conjunto de herramientas geod\u00e9sicas novedosas en la regi\u00f3n e imprescindibles para abordar los desaf\u00edos del futuro:<\/strong>LBI (Interferometr\u00eda de L\u00ednea de Base Muy Larga), SLR (Satellite Laser Ranging) y gravimetr\u00eda de muy alta precisi\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adem\u00e1s cont\u00f3 con una serie de visitas virtuales al \u00fanico Observatorio Geod\u00e9sico Fundamental existente en Am\u00e9rica Latina: el Observatorio Argentino \u2013 Alem\u00e1n de Geodesia (AGGO).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c<em>Hemos sabido que ha sido exitosa desde todo punto de vista, desde la participaci\u00f3n plural e internacional<\/em>\u201d, dijo el <strong>secretario ejectuvo de AUGM, Alvaro Maglia<\/strong>, durante la Jornada sobre geodesia en Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe, organizada en el final de la Escuela.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En ese espacio, Maglia explic\u00f3 que fueron invlocrados 16 pa\u00edses y 130 estudiantes, \u201c<em>datos importantes para un tema tan estrat\u00e9gico<\/em>\u201d. \u201c<em>Complace mucho a AUGM contribuir a esta Escuela de la Universidad de La Plata, una escuela con vocaci\u00f3n regional<\/em>\u201d, agreg\u00f3 Maglia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p
