La Asociaci\u00f3n de Universidades Grupo Montevideo (AUGM) concret\u00f3 la invitaci\u00f3n oficial a la Universidade Federal de S\u00e3o Paulo (UNIFESP)<\/strong>, instituci\u00f3n de educaci\u00f3n superior p\u00fablica brasile\u00f1a de destacada trayectoria acad\u00e9mica, para ingresar como miembro de la red en 2019.<\/p>\n

El secretario ejecutivo del Grupo Montevideo, \u00c1lvaro Maglia, visit\u00f3 el Edificio de Rector\u00eda de la UNIFESP este 15 de enero y se reuni\u00f3 con el vicerrector Nelson Sass<\/strong>, quien particip\u00f3 de la instancia en representaci\u00f3n de la rectora Soraya Soubhi Smaili<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

De esta reuni\u00f3n participaron, adem\u00e1s,\u00a0 la asesora de Relaciones Internacionales del Gabinete de la Rector\u00eda, Gabriela de Brel\u00e0z<\/strong>, la consultora de Asuntos Internacionales, Vera Aburesi Salvadori<\/strong>, y una decena de otros representantes de diferentes \u00e1reas, vicerrector\u00edas y organismos de la UNIFESP.<\/p>\n

\u201cRecibimos el alto inter\u00e9s y determinaci\u00f3n de esta universidad por ingresar a AUGM. Durante dos horas respondimos muchas preguntas sobre la red y sus programas y actividades, tanto como de su vida institucional<\/strong><\/em>\u201d, dijo Maglia sobre este encuentro.<\/p>\n

La universidad brasile\u00f1a responder\u00e1 la invitaci\u00f3n en el corto plazo, inform\u00f3 Maglia, y se espera que su rectora participe plenamente en el pr\u00f3ximo Consejo de Rectores de AUGM en mayo pr\u00f3ximo, concretando as\u00ed su ingreso.Recientemente, AUGM tambi\u00e9n realiz\u00f3 la invitaci\u00f3n oficial a la\u00a0 Universidad Nacional de Concepci\u00f3n (UNC) de Paraguay, que tambi\u00e9n ingresar\u00e1 en 2019.<\/p>\n
