{"id":1770,"date":"2021-11-09T22:25:19","date_gmt":"2021-11-09T22:25:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/augm.org\/wp\/?p=1770"},"modified":"2026-07-21T19:00:26","modified_gmt":"2026-07-21T19:00:26","slug":"por-que-america-latina-importa-lanzamiento-del-coimbra-group-y-augm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/grupomontevideo.org\/site\/por-que-america-latina-importa-lanzamiento-del-coimbra-group-y-augm\/","title":{"rendered":"Por qu\u00e9 Am\u00e9rica Latina importa, lanzamiento del Coimbra Group y AUGM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Este viernes 12 de noviembre, la <strong>Asociaci\u00f3n de Universidades Grupo Montevideo (AUGM), junto al Coimbra Group Universities<\/strong>, lanzan el libro <strong><i>Por qu\u00e9 Latinoam\u00e9rica Importa<\/i><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, una<strong> importante publicaci\u00f3n<\/strong> de la que tambi\u00e9n participaron el Center for Contemporary Latin America Studies y la Universidad de Edimburgo. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Se trata de \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>un libro necesario, cuyos ensayos presentan reflexiones estrat\u00e9gicas en este momento de la historia<\/strong>\u201d, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">expresa en el pr\u00f3logo <strong>Ana L\u00facia Gazzola<\/strong>, ex rectora de la Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Esta obra tiene como <strong>objetivo defender la importancia de Am\u00e9rica Latina como una regi\u00f3n crucial en la pol\u00edtica y el desarrollo globales<\/strong>. Con su rica historia, cultura, enorme resiliencia e innovaci\u00f3n creativa frente a las constantes amenazas contra la naturaleza y la dignidad humana. De hecho, el continente puede mostrar el camino a seguir para el mundo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Estos ensayos, adem\u00e1s, se presentan como un<strong> intento de proporcionar una comprensi\u00f3n m\u00e1s profunda de los significados sociales, pol\u00edticos, enfoques econ\u00f3micos, ambientales y culturales que han tenido lugar en Am\u00e9rica Latina<\/strong> durante los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Estas experiencias y perspectivas ofrecen lecciones concretas que pueden proporcionar un marco decisivo para una reflexi\u00f3n profunda sobre problemas cada vez m\u00e1s desafiantes en otras regiones, particularmente en Europa, y en un escala
